Course Registration

Course Registration for the S24 semester will open on Monday, March 4, 2024, at 8:00 AM and is done through the Student Planning Tool on WebAdvisor. Course descriptions and pre-requisite course information can be found in the Associate Diploma Calendar.

Planning your Course Registration

  • Once you have planned and/or registered into your courses, check your course schedule for conflicts. If courses overlap each other, you have selected two courses/labs that are scheduled at the same time. You must change your selection to eliminate conflicts.
  • The University reserves the right to adjust student's lab sections where enrolment numbers are insufficient 
  • The schedule is subject to change before classes begin in the S24 semester. Please update your timetable before the first day of classes to ensure you have the most up-to-date class/lab times and locations.

Important Dates

  • Thursday, May 2, 2024: Mandatory Orientation (Day 1 of 2)
  • Friday, May 3, 2024: Mandatory Orientation (Day 2 of 2)
  • Monday, May 6, 2024: S24 Classes begin
  • Friday, May 17, 2024: Course ADD (including section changes) deadline for S24
  • Friday, May 17, 2024: S24 Student Account balance due
  • Friday, August 2, 2024: Last day to DROP S24 Courses

Year 1, S24 Courses

Start by Selecting your Program

To start your course selection process, select your program from the options on the left, then log into WebAdvisor.

Please note that most courses may have multiple SECTIONS; the lecture times will be the same, but each section will have different lab times.

Once you have registered into your courses, check your course schedule for conflicts. If courses overlap each other, you have selected two courses that are scheduled at the same time. You must change your selection to eliminate conflicts.

Veterinary Technology Alternative (Year 1)

Your 5 required courses for the S24 semester are listed below.

  • Please choose the same lab section (ex. R101) for DVT*1010, DVT*1120, and DVT*2060 to avoid any schedule conflicts
  • We will adjust students' lab sections if necessary to ensure all returning students can register into all required courses.

  2. DVT*1060, Comprehensive Medical Exercises
  3. DVT*1120, Hematology I & Microbiology
  4. DVT*2060, Communications & Veterinary Software
  5. DVT*2070, Pharmacology & Applied Calculations

Veterinary Technology Alternative (Year 2)

Your 8 required courses for the S24 semester are listed below:

  • You must select the same lab sections (ex. R101) for DVT*2310, DVT*2320, DVT*3070, and DVT*2340
  • Students retaking DVT*1010 are only able to register into DVT*2310, Sections R101 or R103 to avoid conflicts
  • Students retaking DVT*2070 are only able to register into DVT*2330, Section R102 to avoid conflicts
  • We will adjust students' lab sections if necessary to ensure all returning students can register into all required courses.
