What's Next?

Congratulations — below are the important tasks and deadlines to help you prepare for Fall 2026.

Review your offer to ensure you're aware of the admission requirements or conditions you need to fulfill for the program.

Note: All conditions must be fulfilled by August 1, 2026. It is the applicant’s responsibility to ensure updated transcripts/documentation are provided.

International Students should refer to the specific requirements and deadlines.

If you have accepted your offer to DVT, DVTA or CVAOA, proof of an adequate titre against rabies is a requirement for continuation of study within the CVAOA, DVT and DVTA programs.

You will be required to obtain immunization and provide documentation of an adequate antibody titre before September in your first year of study.

The process to obtain your immunization and titre draws can be lengthy and it is recommended that you begin this process as soon as you have accepted your seat in the program. This will enable you to begin participating in hands-on activities as early as September of your first year.

If you do not obtain your rabies immunization and/or titre draws ahead of beginning the program, it will delay your eligibility to participate in hands-on activities with live animals that are required by the program.

Further information will be provided upon acceptance of your program.

Watch for an email to be sent late Winter or early Spring, to the personal email address you provided on your OCAS application, providing you with your UofG email address, Central ID, and temporary password.

Activate and check your UofG Gryphmail regularly to ensure you do not miss any important information about preparing for Fall 2026.

If you experience a disability, register with Student Accessibility Services as soon as possible after accepting your offer for additional resources and support.

Student Accessibility Services (SAS): SAS helps students who experience disabilities with full and equitable participation in academic life.

If you require accommodations to support your academics, please contact Ridgetown Student Accessibility Services (SAS) at rcsas@uoguelph.ca.

The due date to register and submit documents is June 15.

Apply for residence by June 1, 2026.

Note: You must have an accepted offer of admission to be eligible to apply for residence.

The residence application will open on March 5, 2026.
