A day in the life…
As a highly motivated Market Development Farm Technician you will support execution of the field trial program that is assigned to the TSA. This is a field-based position that will include the operation, maintenance, and transportation of research equipment, as well as seeding, spraying, harvesting and data entry from the research trials. You will be responsible for managing all tasks associated with compliance requirements for the research program and supporting all health & safety activities at the local site. This position is a 9 month term with an anticipated start date in March 2027.
What you bring to the table…
· You have completed a Bachelor degree at post-secondary institution
· You have experience working with research equipment and hands on experience in data collection from an agricultural research program.
· You can work independently as well as contributing to a dynamic team environment while delivering results in a timely manner.
· You possess a valid full driver’s license and a clean driving record, with a willingness to obtain a heavy trailer endorsement.
