Responsibilities
Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and masking areas as needed.
Apply paint using spray guns and other tools, ensuring even coverage and adherence to specifications.
Mix paints and coatings according to manufacturer instructions to achieve desired colours and finishes.
Inspect finished work for quality assurance, making necessary touch-ups or corrections.
Maintain a clean and organized work area, including the proper storage of tools and materials.
Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects while adhering to safety protocols.
Utilize power tools and hand tools effectively for various tasks related to painting and surface preparation.
Adhere to lean manufacturing company standards.
Experience
Proven experience as a Painter/Finisher, preferably in an automotive/cabinetry business or similar environment.
Proficiency in using power tools and hand tools related to painting tasks.
Ability to lift heavy materials and equipment safely as required by the job.
Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.
Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently within project timelines.
