New Co-op Diploma Options

Ridgetown Campus is thrilled to announce the offering of three new co-op diploma options for students beginning their studies in Fall 2022.

Students can apply to the co-op option in the Associate Diploma in Agriculture, Horticulture, or Equine Care and Management at ontariocolleges.ca. Students will complete one co-op work term in the summer semester between year 1 and year 2 of their studies.

“For future students, combining academic excellence through lectures and labs along with a paid industry-related work experience is a win-win for students and employers,” says, Dr. Simon Lachance, Assistant Dean, Academic. “We know this new opportunity will enhance students’ experiential learning and networking opportunities, along with building valuable transferable skills for any career.”

If you are interested in learning more about the new co-op programs at Ridgetown, please contact rcampus@uoguelph.ca.

Ridgetown Campus appreciates the collaborative support and leadership of the Ontario Agricultural College (OAC), and Co-operative Education and Career Services, to launch this new initiative.
