Learning & Living in Clinton

The first year of the Associate Diploma in Equine Care & Management is located at the Regional Equine & Agricultural Centre of Huron (REACH Huron) in the small town of Clinton, ON. Clinton is approximately 2 hours northeast of Ridgetown Campus.

As there is no student residence available at REACH Huron or in Clinton, students will need to find student housing in the community.

REACH Huron is an $8.0 million equine and agricultural training centre, located in Huron County,;that offers outstanding teaching facilities to prepare students for careers in Ontario's equine industry.

Boarding Your Horse

  • Limited spaces are available for students to board their horses at REACH Huron. Contact Cindy Pryce at 519-482-3998 for further details and costs. Boarding at REACH Huron is arranged and managed by REACH Huron, not Ridgetown Campus
  • May other local equine facilities also offer boarding and service opportunities for students to consider

Living in the Clinton Community

  • A safe, quiet, and friendly community of 3,000 people
  • Located 1 hour north of London, ON and 2 hours northeast of Ridgetown, ON
  • Offers a variety of services and amenities, all within close walking distance of REACH Huron
  • Amenities include a grocery store, local restaurants, banks, pharmacies, convenience stores, a hockey arena with an indoor walking track, the YMCA, a gas station, a hospital, and horseback riding trails through Hullet Provincial Park
