How to Apply & Accept an Offer of Admission

  1. Review your programs(s) of choice, the admission requirements (listed below), and the tuition and fees

    • Consider joining us for a Virtual Open House or book a one-on-one RC Connect information session to learn more about your program(s) of interest and Ridgetown Campus
  2. Complete your Ontario Colleges application online at ontariocolleges.ca, with the corresponding OCAS application code listed below, by the equal consideration application deadline of February 1

    • Please note, February 1 is the final day to apply for the Associate Diploma in Veterinary Technology. Late applications will not be considered
    • Applications received after the February 1 deadline for all other programs will be processed on a first-come-first-served basis
  3. Check your Ontario Colleges application profile for any offers of admission after February 1 for all programs, except Veterinary Technology. Veterinary Technology offers of admission will start to go out in early March
  4. Join us for a Virtual Spring Open House or book a one-on-one RC Connect session to see if Ridgetown Campus is the right fit for you
  5. Accept your Offer of Admission by May 1 (or as stated on your offer letter) on your Ontario Colleges application profile

Admission Requirements for Ontario Applicants

  • If you have completed your secondary school requirements in a different province or territory, please contact our Campus Registrar for more information on the equivalent courses and levels that are required

  • Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) or Equivalent
  • A minimum cumulative average of 65% in 6 Grade 11 or Grade 12 U, C, M, or O level courses (excludes co-op credits)
  • Includes a minimum of Grade 11C Math and Grade 12C English
  • Or apply under Mature Student Status: Applicants don't have a high school diploma/equivalent but are 19 years of age or older and out of high school for a minimum of 1 year; pre-admission testing may be required
OCAS Application Code: R202

* Note: the application deadline to apply to the Veterinary Technology Program was February 1, 2021. We are no longer accepting applications for 2021-2022; please consider applying for the 2022-2023 year once the application becomes available

**Note: Next intake of the Alternative Delivery will be in Fall 2022

Current Ontario Secondary School Curriculum Minimum Course Requirements

  • English: Grade 12 C or U English
  • Math: Grade 12 C Math or any Grade 12 U Math
  • Biology: Grade 11 C or U Biology
  • Chemistry: Grade 12 C or Grade 11 U Chemistry

Each of the 6 courses listed above must have:

  • A minimum final grade of 75% at the ‘C’ level
  • A minimum final grade of 65% at the ‘U’ level

Previous Ontario Secondary School Curriculum Minimum Course Requirements

At the Advanced Level:

  • Applicants must have credits in the following 6 courses: Chemistry (Grade 11), Biology (Grade 11), Math (Grade 12), and English (Grade 12), each with a minimum final grade of 65%

At the General Level:

  • Applicants must have credits in the following 6 courses: Chemistry (Grade 11), Biology (Grade 11), Math (Grade 12), and English (Grade 12), each with a minimum final grade of 75%

Note: All applicants to the program must possess their high school diploma or equivalent to be considered for admission to the program. Mature Student Status (19+ years of age but do not have a high school diploma or equivalent) does not apply

Acceptable Upgrading Options for Admission Consideration

Note: Proof of upgrading-in-progress must be submitted to the Assistant Registrar by February 14 and final grades for the course(s) you are taking must be submitted no later than August 1
