Linked Farms Ltd. is seeking an experienced Dairy Farm Manager to lead a modern robotic dairy operation in Falmouth, Nova Scotia.

This leadership role has responsibility for herd performance, milk production, reproductive health, operational efficiency, animal welfare, and farm profitability.

Scope: Small robotic dairy operation

Level: Junior leadership position

About the Role:

The Dairy Farm Manager will oversee the performance of a small dairy herd and support results across milk yield, herd health, animal welfare, and cost efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the day-to-day operations of the dairy farm
• Support improvements in milk yield, milk quality, and overall profitability
• Manage the robotic milking system, feeding program, breeding program, and animal health protocols
• Lead a small team and optimize resources to maintain a clean, efficient, and healthy operation
• Maintain animal welfare, biosecurity, food safety, and proAction standards
• Maintain accurate records in DelPro and DairyTrace

Qualifications and Experience:

• Proven experience handling cattle
• Minimum of 2 years of dairy operation experience
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a leadership role
• Education in Animal Science, Dairy Science, Veterinary Science, Agriculture, or a related field
• Strong knowledge of herd management, nutrition, breeding, and animal health
• Proficiency in machinery operation
• Excellent English communication and reporting skills
• Team player with a strong desire to learn, grow, and contribute to the success of the operation

Location:
Falmouth is part of the Municipality of West Hants, Nova Scotia. It is a small, growing community conveniently located near the Annapolis Valley and approximately 45 minutes from Halifax Stanfield International Airport and 45 minutes from Halifax.

Position Details:

This is a full-time, permanent position. The starting schedule is five days per week, including two weekends per month. The preferred start date is as soon as possible.
