Description
Laidlaw Stables is a small, private Horse Farm spanning 50 yrs involvement in breeding, raising, promoting & selling Quarter Horses in the ‘Show Ring’ disciplines.
We have bred, owned, and shown World Champions, Major Futurity Champions and Hall of Fame Horses both in Canada & the USA.
We are seeking an individual to assist with daily routines and chores in the barns and around the farm. This could be a seasonal role or year-round position, pending suitability and scheduling. The candidate could be a current student or graduate from the Equine Program from Ridgetown College, and we are flexible for work term duration. There is potential for full-time employment in the future, for the right fit and circumstances.
Compensation will be dependent upon the level of experience, amount of time available and duration of work term. This could be suitable for a student / co-op student seeking summer or part time work and is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to gain ‘hands on’ experience.
