Description

Atwood Farm Supplies is a progressive ag-retailer serving farmers in Mid-Western Ontario from our location near Donegal (Just outside Listowel). We supply Crop Inputs including – Fertilizer, Crop Protection, Seed and related Agronomy and Custom Application Services to our customers. We are looking to add a full-time professional applicator to our team.

The successful candidate will have the following skill set:

• AZ/DZ license or willingness to attain
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Self-starter
• Farm equipment experience

Key Job Elements:
• Work with agronomy team to provide custom application services of both fertilizer and crop protection products efficiently and accurately for our customers.
• Operate a fleet of modern application equipment using GPS technology to professionally apply products in time sensitive manner.
• Ability to work overtime hours to ensure timely applications.
• Accurate recording of all applications, and maintenance activities.
• Interact with customers and co-workers in a professional manner.
• Take a pro-active approach with respect to maintaining equipment in top working order and general maintenance of facilities.
• Be familiar and comfortable with paperwork used when shipping products, to ensure customer’s expectation are met.
• Willingness to obtain DZ licence, Exterminators licence, 4R’s training.
