Requirements

1 Experience: 1 year in sales agriculture fertilizer sector in Canada (Must have)
2 Education: Farming background or agricultural diploma preferred, hands on farming valued, CCA strongly considered
3 Industry Knowledge: Soil science, fertilizers, crop needs, soil testing and nutrient management an asset
4 Sales Skills: Proven record of meeting targets managing relationships and handling objections
5 Networking: Familiarity or connections with farmers ag businesses in Wellington County and area
6 Self Motivation: Able to work independently in a field based role with minimal supervision

Compensation and Benefits

- Salary Commission based with guaranteed minimum 80K to 200K annually uncapped

About the Role

As Sales Account Manager you will drive sales and build farmer relationships in Wellington County focusing on fertilizer solutions. The role combines technical expertise soil science crop nutrition with strong sales skills to grow market share trust and farmer success.

3 Soil Assessments Conduct on site tests evaluate crop soil needs
4 Product Recommendations Tailor solutions to client requirements
5 Demonstrations Showcase products educate on applications
6 Negotiation Manage pricing contracts while ensuring satisfaction
7 CRM Management Maintain accurate sales customer records
8 Industry Awareness Stay current on ag trends and innovations
9 Event Attendance Represent LaSalle at farm shows and conferences
