Animals available to loving homes
The Ridgetown Campus Adoption Centre was created to provide homes for animals that have been used for teaching Veterinary Technology students.
All of our dogs have been through basic training involving positive reinforcement techniques.
Meet Maeve
My name is Maeve – they told me I was probably born sometime in 2024 so I’m just entering my teenage years. I am a female mastiff cross (spayed, microchipped and fully vaccinated) and I am full of energy! Walking with the students is my favourite thing to do and although I’m looking for a family who can teach me all the fun, important things about being a big dog, I’m truly a goofball! I promise to work hard to show you how wonderful I truly am. I like other dogs but will need to be introduced slowly of course. Make an appointment soon to come meet me!
If you would like more information about Maeve, please contact the Animal Adoption Centre.
Meet Wishbone
Wishbone here! And like my name suggest, I’m a lucky 2 year old boy looking for my forever home. I love hanging with the humans, but I will do best in a home where I’m the only star – I don’t want to spend it with any other furry friends – I’m a solo kinda guy! I’ve been neutered, I’m up to date on all my vaccines and I’ve been microchipped. I know my basic commands, feeding time is my favouite and going for walks makes me the luckiest guy around. I am approximately 60lbs. Make an appointment to come meet me!

He will need a home familiar with the ins and outs of the beagle lifestyle and maybe some reminding that we like to use our indoor voice around here! We are now accepting applications for his adoption.

Meet Cashew
My name is Cashew and it’s time for me to pull up a couch and settle into my forever home. I am a boxer cross – microchipped and up to date on vaccines (she is awaiting her spay this week and will be ready to go at the end of March). I’ve got a lot of energy and love going for walks. If introduced slowly to other dogs, I can be their next best friend, but my energy is bright so a home with lots of things for me to do is ideal. I’m loyal – my humans will tell you that I just want to be near to make sure they are doing everything correctly and a reminder that there should be a treat coming my way. Make an appointment to come meet me!
