Animals available to loving homes
The Ridgetown Campus Adoption Centre was created to provide homes for animals that have been used for teaching Veterinary Technology students.
All of our dogs have been through basic training involving positive reinforcement techniques.

Meet Riot
I may be just a year old but I’m on high alert for my forever home. I stand tall and proud and always on the lookout for new friends, treats and just a pat on the head. Cuddles? Oh I give them! But be prepared to share your bed and couch because I am loyal to a fault. I’m looking for a home who has the time, understands my breed and is ready to go on adventures. Riot is a German Shepard who is vaccinated, neutered and heartworm tested. He is ready for your home in the middle of March. Book a time to come meet him!
If you would like more information about Riot, please contact the Animal Adoption Centre.

Meet Valentina

Meet Wolf
Are you ready for me?
Wolf here – the biggest goofball who works so hard on being a star pupil. I came to campus searching for my people and the next thing I knew I was getting giant bowls of foods, lots of toys and treats every time someone came to visit me. I immediately started going on these things called walks with all my human friends. They weren’t sure I liked the leash, but I showed them how well I learned when they spent time with me. I walk with my best friend now– but we like to wrestle so if you have a dog at home for me to play with, I will thieve! I am house broken and know basic commands. I just got neutered so looks like my time to shine with my forever home is here! Looking for an active family who has time to take me on my walks and continue my training – but don’t worry, I also cuddle and give big kisses! Make an appointment to meet me now!
If you would like more information about Wolf, please contact the Animal Adoption Centre.

Meet Wilson
Wilson here – reporting for duty! Can you guess my breed? My friends tell me I’m part beagle, part basset hound – but I’m all heart! I’m estimated at almost 2 years old and I’m ready for my forever home. But be prepared, I’m looking for a quiet home to relax, take lots of naps and hang out in. I like friends – especially the 4 legged kind so I will do well in a home with other dogs if your wondering. Make an appointment to come meet me so I can show you how truly special I am!
If you would like more information about Wilson, please contact the Animal Adoption Centre.

Meet Maeve
My name is Maeve – they told me I was probably born sometime in 2024 so I’m just entering my teenage years. I am a female mastiff cross (spayed, microchipped and fully vaccinated) and I am full of energy! Walking with the students is my favourite thing to do and although I’m looking for a family who can teach me all the fun, important things about being a big dog, I’m truly a goofball! My medical history includes a positive lyme test but I am currently getting a meatball every day with some medicine in it, but I don’t really care because the meatball is delicious! I’m looking for the right family who can show me the love I deserve (with lots of walks and cuddles in between!)
If you would like more information about Maeve, please contact the Animal Adoption Centre.
