Important Recommendations to Residents/Students of Chatham-Kent

To reduce exposure to and transmission of a range of illnesses, including coronaviruses, CK Public Health advises Chatham-Kent residents/students to:

  • Wash your hands with soap and water, or use hand sanitizer
  • Cover your coughs and sneezes with a tissue or your arm, not your hand
  • Stay home if you are sick
  • Avoid contact with people who are sick
  • Visit your Health Care Provider or nearest pharmacy to get your flu shot
  • Avoid non-essential travel

How You Can Help

The most important way you can help prevent the spread of any virus is to stay home if you are not feeling well and avoid interaction with others. Guelph Campus COVID-19 webpage explains steps to take if you have recently travelled to an area where the coronavirus is prevalent.
