Scholarships & Awards


Awards Status - 2010-2011
As a result of the economic downturn and the negative impact this is having on University Endowments, the University of Guelph will be suspending most of its endowed scholarships, bursaries and travel grants for the time being. We will be working very hard to cushion the impact on those students depending on awards based on financial need as we work our way through this downturn.

Ridgetown Campus distributes over $110,000 in awards and scholarships to diploma and certificate students!


The awards program consists of scholarships, bursaries and awards.


Financial Support for Students is provided in three important ways:

  1. Entrance Awards
  2. In-Course Awards
  3. Graduation Awards

Timeliness of award allocations is important and occurs throughout the year, see our Overview of Awards Support and Distribution
