| Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD). Students applying to the program require Grade 12 U-level English and Biology as well as 4 additional 12 U/M credits. It is recommended that applicants include additional credits in Chemistry at the 12U level. Students deficient in U-level Chemistry will be required to complete appropriate upgrading courses prior to entering Year 3 of the program. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||

English as a Second Language
Assessment Testing
Applicants required to provide evidence of English proficiency must meet one of the following four proficiency requirements:
- The International English Language Testing System (IELTS) with a minimum overall score of 6.5 with no band less than 6
- The Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) with a score of 600 (paper-based) or 250 (computer-based), and Test of Written English (TWE) with a score 5 (discretionary range of 4.5), and Test of Spoken English (TSE) with a score of 50
- The Michigan English Assessment Battery (MELAB) with a minimum overall score of 85 and a minimum composition score of 83. In addition, applicants must present a minimum score on the oral test of three (3)
- The Canadian English Language Assessment (CAEL) with a minimum overall band score of 70
