Public Health Unit Walk-in Services
Staffed by Public Health Nurses (PHN) only. Thursdays from 12:30PM - 3:00PM at the Ridgetown Municipal Service Centre, 45 Main St. E. Ridgetown, Ontario N0P2C0, across from Foodland Grocery store. Available Services:
- Free Pregnancy Testing
- Sexual Health information and counselling
- Birth control information
- Birth control pick up for:
- Health Unit clients
- Clients with a Consent to Dispense Contraceptive Forms
- Emergency Contraceptive Pill (ECP/Morning After Pill)
- Sexually Transmitted Disease/Infection testing
- Low cost Birth control including condoms
- Pamphlets, fact sheets and information on a variety of health topics
- including immunization

Public Health Unit Clinic Services
Staffed by a Nurse Practitioner and Public Health Nurses. Clinics are held in Chatham, Wallaceburg and Ridgetown. The Ridgetown clinic is held at the Municipal Service Centre, the First Thursday of each Month from 12:00PM to 2:00PM. Clinic Services are available by calling for an appointment at 519-355-1071 and follow the prompts to the Sexual Health Intake Nurse. All of the above walk-in services are available at the clinics as well as diagnosis and treatment with the Nurse Practitioner. For specific clinic dates call the Chatham-Kent Public Health Clinic Services office at 519-355-1071. The Ridgetown Service Centre is located at 45 Main Street East.

All health discussions & services are confidential unless you are being harmed, you intend to harm someone else or you are harming yourself, then other professionals must be included. Otherwise, everything discussed between you and the Public Health Nurse is confidential.
