Introduction
The purpose of this course is to increase the ability of contractors to recognize and analyze agriculture soil erosion problems. Proper design and construction procedures for solving erosion problems will be taught. The Canada-Ontario Environmental program financially assists farmers in the installation of erosion control structures. This course will allow qualified contractors to do most of their own erosion control design work and construction of smaller projects which, under current financial assistance programs, may otherwise require professional engineering design and supervision.

This course will prepare you, not only to do most of your own designs, but will also help you recognize which situations require more specialized professional design
