Volunteer Opportunities
Your interest and involvement in Ridgetown Campus is always welcome. Alumni can volunteer to support the staff, students, and campus initiatives in a number of ways:
Alumni Class Rep Program
Volunteers are needed from each graduating class to be the official class reps for their year. Class reps will give input on possible alumni activities, help find "lost" alumni and work to keep classmates connected to Ridgetown. The time commitment is minimal - class reps are invited to attend one meeting per year. For more information on the Class Rep program, contact the Alumni Services Co-ordinator.
Ridgetown Agri-Food Foundation
The Foundation is a volunteer organization that supports the strategic directions and fundraising efforts for the campus. To discuss your interest in the Foundation, contact Liz Meidlinger, Manager, Communications at 519-674-1500 x63587.
Alumni Events
Events and activities for alumni occur throughout the year. Contact Janet Nauta, the Alumni Services Co-ordinator, to become a committee member for any of these activities.
Westag Alumni Association
The Association invites interested alumni to become involved with planning the alumni banquet and supporting other alumni and student initiatives. Contact the Association President, Joanne Thomson by email at sandjthomson@rogers.ca
or by phone at 519-352-5093 for more information.
Class Projects
Be a class leader and plan a class reunion, special event or fund raising project. The Alumni Services Co-ordinator will help you get your idea off the ground.
